Coffee that has stood the test of time!
New York’s Favorite Coffee is a new coffee brand based in Water Mill NY. While the Company is new the coffee is anything but. New York’s Favorite Coffee’s signature product is the coffee that New Yorkers have loved for more than 100 years. This iconic coffee has been unavailable in retail stores or outside of New York City until now.
In early 2023 Co-Founder Jon Molin, a Water Mill resident, walked into the King Kullen supermarket in Bridgehampton and asked Doe-Ann Powell, a Sag harbor resident who was working at the information desk, how he could get King Kullen to carry his beloved coffee. Through an improbable web of contacts Jon’s inquiry led him to reunite with his old friend and former business associate Tim Mcduffie. The two had not been in contact for some 30 years. In the intervening years Tim had become a successful California based e- commerce entrepreneur. After numerous phone calls, a joyous reunion and several face to face planning sessions, Jon and Tim joined forces again as Co-Founders and New York’s Favorite Coffee Company was born.
The company’s mission is to make the coffee that has been loved by millions of New Yorkers since 1918 available to coffee lovers nationwide. At the same time, New York’s Favorite coffee is determined to help people in need in the New York area and beyond. Recently the company provided eight cases of coffee to Hamptons Community Outreach to be distributed to people in need.
